The Suhum Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Coordinating Director, met with a delegation from the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Eastern Regional Office.

The meeting focused on promoting non-traditional exports, including agricultural products, processed goods, and handicrafts, as a means of reducing poverty and building the capacity of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the municipality.

The Ghana Export Promotion Authority pledged its support to ensure that SMEs in the municipality participate in local and Eastern Regional exhibitions to showcase and promote their products.

The engagement is expected to create opportunities for local businesses to expand their markets, improve their competitiveness, and contribute to the economic development of the Suhum Municipality.
