Facilities & Ownership: Health care in the Municipality is provided by both the public and private sectors. Though there are thirty-three (33) facilities (public and private), the distribution of the facilities is skewed geographically.
Patronage of Facilities: Though only three (3) of the existing thirty-three (33) facilities are privately owned it has now emerged that they now attract more out-patients than all the thirty (30) publicly owned ones.
Human Resources Situation in the Public Health Sector: The manpower level of the public side of the health sector in the Municipality was as follows 2014 to2017.
