The Suhum Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Lydia Ohenewa Sarah, has handed over five (5) new development projects sites in the Municipality to contractors for commencement of works.
These projects, which are aimed at improving healthcare, education, sanitation, and access to potable water, include:
1. Construction and furnishing of one (1) CHPS Compound with one (1) mechanised borehole at Adarkwa.
2. Construction of one (1) three-unit KG and Nursery classroom block at Brong Densuso.
3. Construction and furnishing of one (1) Health Centre with one (1) mechanised borehole at Nankese, Amafrom Zongo.
4. Construction and furnishing of one (1) three-unit JHS classroom block at Ayekotse M/A.
5. Paving and fencing of a four-seater WC toilet and urinal facility with a mechanized borehole at Ayekotse.
These projects demonstrate the Assembly’s commitment to addressing the developmental needs of communities within the Municipality and improving access to quality education, healthcare, sanitation facilities, and potable water.
