Suhum Municipal Assembly organized a Staff Durbar on Tuesday 20th January 2026 to discuss issues of mega concerns to the assembly.

The Municipal Coordinator Director, Alhaji Abdul-Rahim Tahidu Muusah (ESQ) in an address welcome all and spoke on performance contract. He urged management and staff to commit in delivering on the promise to execute task assigned to perform per their job schedules to maximise productivity.

Secondly, staff performance appraisal should work on performance of staff to justify the work executed and how we performed during the year under review.

Smart Workplace was mentioned as a newly introduced application by the Local Government Service to enable us implement an advanced software interface which will reduce the use of stationary and facilitate progress of work. It will introduce online use of memos, submission of reports and leave application.

With reference to Revenue Mobilisation, the Municipal Coordinating Director mentioned the measures put in place to assist with mobilisation and staff assured management of full support in implementation.

The Municipal Coordinating Director appealed to all to support the full implementation of measures put in place to make Suhum Municipal the cleanest municipality in Eastern Region.

Last but not the latest, staffs were encouraged to report to work on time, perform duties assigned accordingly and support the assembly in prayers.

He announced recording two officers for their performance in 2025 who were Janet Ansong Gyemfi, Revenue Superintendent and Kamal Saliah, Human Resource Manager.

Staff commended management for suprise packages received during the December 2025 ending.
