The Suhum Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Margaret Darko-Dankwa has inspected some projects undertaken by government in the municipality.
The projects include the first phase of a multipurpose 3-storey building complex at the Amponsah Market, a fully constructed 40-unit open-market shed and a fence wall around the main Market to prevent thieves from entering the market at night among others.
The Municipal Chief Executive also inspected a 12-kilometre road construction from Obretema through Krobom to Esaase, a community borehole and a Ghana-First toilet project at Krobom.
She also inspected a 3-unit modern kindergarten block comprising an office, canteen and a washroom.
Addressing the press, Mrs. Darko-Dankwa noted that formerly, children at the kindergarten level had to walk a distance of 7-kilometers to access basic education.
