The Municipal Chief Executive for the Suhum Municipal Assembly has embarked on a familiarisation tour across key institutions in the municipality. The visit aims to deepen collaboration, listen to stakeholders, and strengthen public service delivery.

As part of efforts to promote inclusive governance and deepen partnerships, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Suhum Municipal Assembly paid a working visit to several key institutions within the municipality, including the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), the Suhum Health Directorate, the Ghana Police Service, the Suhum Senior High Technical School and a few other senior high schools.
The tour provided an opportunity for the MCE to interact with heads of departments and frontline personnel, discussing challenges, expectations, and opportunities for collaboration. The warm reception received from all institutions was a testament to their readiness to work hand-in-hand with the Assembly for the progress of Suhum.

Meanwhile, in a related initiative focused on education, selected university students were invited to engage with senior high school students across Suhum in an insightful mentorship session. The goal: to guide these future leaders in making informed choices as they prepare to enter tertiary institutions.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to bridge the gap between secondary and tertiary education, ensuring students have the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to pursue academic excellence and professional fulfillment.
Indeed, collaboration and youth development remain essential pillars for Suhum’s growth. The Municipal Assembly, together with its partners, continues to take bold steps to ensure that public service delivery and youth empowerment remain top priorities.
