The Ghana Education Service in collaboration with ADEVAG foundation has organized the Grand Finally Inter JHS Qiuz Competition on 18th June 2024.
The Deputy Municipal Human Resource Director, Mr. Larbi Henaku Roger representing the Municipal Director of Education welcomed all to the 3rd Edition of the ADEVAG Foundation inter JHS quiz Competition. He expressed his profound gratitude to the ADEVAG Foundation for supporting education in the Municipality . He continued that education is the key to unlocking the potential of the youth.
He congratulated the students for making it to the final stage. He added that, it is their hard work and dedication that have brought them to this far. He advised them to embraced the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills. To the teachers and the educators, he said, their tireless efforts in shaping young minds are appreciated.
The President of ADEVAG Foundation, Mr. Isaac Nuamah stated that the objective of the foundation is to institute competitive learning among students. He said, the competition started with fifth-two (52) JHS in the Municipality and 4 qualify for the finals. He started that all the four (4) finalist are winners.
The Chair Person, Barimah Ayekotse Teinor 11 Chief of Ayekotse Praised the students for the knowledge they have exhibited today. He encouraged them to let it reflect in the upcoming BECE examination. He thanked the ADEVAG Foundation for such initiative.
The Municipal Information Officer, Ivy Agyapomah Appiah recommend the education Directorate for their collaborative work towards programs in the Municipality. She congratulated all the finalist and said may the best school wins.
At the end of the competition, Suhum M/A Experimental ‘ C’ emerged as winners, Ayekotse M/A JHS came 2nd, Suhum M/A Experimental ‘ B’ was placed 3rd and Suhum Angelican ‘B’ took the 4th position. Items such as Plaques, Set of computers, Cash, Certificate and Troopy were given to the competitors.
